Located on a sprawling property in Hawkesbury NSW just one hour out of Sydney, we have been involved with Stunning British Shorthairs for almost two decades, specialising in breeding show-winning blues
and lilacs for the last five years. We are a family-run, licensed, show-winning specialist breeder for homes across Australia.
Our aim is to breed beautiful bundles of British Shorthair joy to give families years of love, laughter and happiness. We thrive on the wellbeing of our kittens, queens and studs where they are nurtured in a loving environment. We want them to be confident, healthy and happy before they begin their life at their new furever homes. We want to provide you with the perfect addition to your family and lifestyle, with pedigree papers showcasing their lineage with your Kitten Starter Pack to support their move.

SBS Cats is run from our home and our pets live with us – it’s a cuddly household
We breed, nurture and manage our cats and kittens strictly in line with our values where the wellbeing of our cats always come first.
Our cats live in the house with us, with custom-built areas for their comfort and direct access to outdoor play areas.
We work in partnership with our vet and, as a show-winning breeder, we are actively involved in maintaining the high breeding standards. This means your kitten is pedigree with the guarantee of a wonderful, devoted personality for a welcome addition to your home.
Our purpose-built property is perfect for the breeding and caring of our beautiful kittens and cats. All of our animals are loved and cared for, with plenty of interaction with our family. Our large facility gives all our adult cats and kittens room to roam, lie around and socialise. You will enjoy peace of mind – and the benefits of their wonderful personalities – knowing our Queens, Studs and their offspring are lavished with love and attention.

About our kittens
Our kittens are born in and raised in our loving family home. They are allowed to run freely, living amongst pets and farm animals as a stimulating, natural environment for a fun and varied life.
In a specialist purpose-built nursery area, our young kittens are raised separately until they are weaned, enjoying a healthy diet of kitten biscuits and raw meats.
We are able to monitor and care for our queens and their kittens 24/7. Our climate controlled nursery allows for the care and comfort of our Queens and newborns.
Our new kittens have early interaction with their humans, and once they’re weaned from their Mums after 3 weeks, graduate to our kitten rooms. This area is designed for our playful kittens to enjoy the freedom to roam and play.
They get to enjoy soft lush grass, warm sunshine, cool shade, playtime fun with our family and interactive toys during the day. At night, they cozy up together, dreaming of their very own furever homes.
Before your furbaby comes home to you, our kittens are vet checked on a regular basis. By eight weeks, they have all been microchipped, wormed regularly and received their vaccinations. During their vet checks they are examined for:
• eyes and ears checked
• teeth and mouth checked
• heart and abdomen checked
• limbs and joints
You will be adopting your fur-child from a show-winning, diligent and caring breeder who goes above and beyond raising stunning British Shorthairs.

Lilac British Shorthair
Featuring a coat colour ranging from lavender to warm pink with a grey undertone, Lilacs are a recent introduction to the breed.
Blue (Grey) British Shorthair
With their soft muted grey hue, the “British Blue” is the epitome of British Shorthairs.
British Longhair
Exclusive and endearing in equal measure, their semi-long coat is a result of the Turkish Angora and Persian longhair gene - emerging as an increasingly popular breed.
